A case-study of how the clinical trial community, affiliated with Providence Health Care, perceives the rapid process changes implemented to support COVID-19 clinical trials

COVID-19 Research Area(s): Epidemiology & Public Health, Healthcare Delivery & Policy

To understand how clinical trial stakeholder's affiliated with PHC and UBC perceive the new clinical trial research administration processes that were introduced to facilitate COVID-19 clinical trials and learn their opinions, about what worked well and what did not, a survey of the clinical trial research community (researchers; research staff; research institute and university-affiliated personnel) will be conducted. Policymakers (research leaders, funders, and regulators) who created and authorized the new processes will also be interviewed to ask their opinions about developing the policies/processes to enable COVID-19 trials.
