COVID Cancellations THR TKR: Impact of Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Cancellations During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the 'Elective Surgical Pause' (ESP) implemented at the time of the provincial declaration of State of Emergency due to the COVID Virus all Hip and Knee replacement surgeries have been put on an indefinite hold. This study will contact those patients who have had their surgeries cancelled for an indeterminate period of time and gather information about the impact of this on their life. Specifically, how patients are coping with pain / disability since having their surgery cancelled, what patient expectations for rescheduling surgery are, and whether the pandemic has changed patient perceptions of their pain / disability caused by their end-stage arthritis.
