Research Specializations

I am interested in examining the disruption of supply chains (food, health services, pandemic supplies) in rural and remote communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. I am also interested to investigate the changes in consumer behaviour and corporate responses during the pandemic. Panic buying, hoarding are some of the extreme consumption behaviours we witnessed during the pandemic. I am interested to work with local governments, non-profit organizations, and businesses to explore innovative solutions and programs to ensure residents in remote and rural communities received enough support during the Covid-19 pandemic.
