Community-based OH services; Community-Based Organization and Client Perspectives of Oral Health Resources

Non-emergency dental services were suspended in British Columbia due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including services provided in community-based organizations that support vulnerable people with limited access to care and resources. This study aims to explore how organizations and their clients have been impacted, as well as unravel the mechanisms employed by organizations and their clients to address oral health issues they face. In collaboration with six organizations, interviews with staff and clients will identify services and resources they consider essential and necessary as they move through this pandemic, and will inform the development of a phased strategy to address their dental needs by September.
