LEAP: Lived Experience of British Columbian Acute Care Health Professionals Working Frontline during the COVID-19 Pandemic

This qualitative study will involve interviewing British Columbian acute care health professionals to explore their lived experiences of working frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will include healthcare workers who have experience caring for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom video-conference to ensure all data collection and analysis can occur online without in-person interactions. Through analysis of participant narratives, we aim to identify themes that reveal the complexity of healthcare workers' experiences during BC's COVID-19 response.
