Pandemic deliberation 2020; Public input to pandemic policy: Deliberating trade-offs in COVID-19 policy

As we begin to flatten the curve in BC, we can move slowly from crisis to management. Government is considering loosening social measures. There are many trade-offs among public health, broader health, social and economic consequences to consider. These are informed by predictive models and other analyses and input from decision-makers. Engaging the public in meaningful ways is both the right thing to do and an opportunity for further community and civic development. We are facilitating a series of online public deliberations to enable people to give their input regarding upcoming changes to the government's COVID-19 response.
