Physician Health and Wellness - VCH

This is a mixed methods study focusing on physician health and wellness within VCH and perspectives on the appropriate service model of a physician-specific occupational health program (POSH). The project consists of key informant interviews done within VCH and a survey of VCH physicians.
 
VCH undertook a situational assessment on programs that existed prior to COVID-19 to promote physician health in VCH, the perspectives on the adequacy of that situation, and to inform potential future program development, if desirable. Currently, the Physician Occupational Safety & Health (POSH) service functions specifically for COVID-19. The pandemic has raised interest in the possible need for ongoing services to promote and protect physician health in VCH.
