Response to COVID-19 in the Homelessness Sector and Impact on Service Providers and Users

COVID-19 Research Area(s): Healthcare Delivery & Policy, Social Impacts

This project consists of multiple research phases geared at drawing out challenges and successes to date in this sector's response to COVID-19, with an intention to scale up and scale out innovative and successful practices among service organisations. Our short-term focus is to inform preparation for a potential second wave, and / or adapting the status quo to meet the increased demand in the colder months. Subsequent research phases will seek to draw in service user perspectives, as well as efforts to assess and support mental health & wellbeing - among both service providers and service users - during this period of increased strain.
