Secondary analysis of PSAS (Pregnancy-Specific Anxiety Scale)

COVID-19 Research Area(s): Epidemiology & Public Health

We plan to conduct two secondary analyses.

 1. Pregnant and postpartum women's responses to the COVID-19 pandemic
This study explores the responses of pregnant and postpartum women to the COVID-19 pandemic and identifies some ways in which healthcare providers can support them.

 2. Cannabis use and its perceived safety during the perinatal period
The aim of this exploratory study is to compare the rates of cannabis use, cigarette smoking, alcohol and any street drugs use during the preconception period and pregnancy in two convenient samples of pregnant persons in BC, Canada, before and after legalization of cannabis. In addition, we will examine the perception of cannabis use safety during the perinatal period
