Telehealth and transitions in the era of COVID

Transitions in practice are characterized by a heightened period of anxiety and professional turmoil. In the current climate of a global pandemic, an unprecedented number of physicians have been forced to transition some or all of their practice to a virtual care model to promote patient safety through physical distancing. Anecdotally, this has resulted in unexpected challenges. We seek to better understand the challenges faced by this group, the supports they rely on and how it has affected their professional identity.
