Heat map; Human Form Heat-Mapping for AI-assisted Detection of COVID-19 and Related Infectious Disease

This project aims to determine the effectiveness of thermal cameras to measure body temperatures across a normal and abnormal range using passive heating and exercise. The data collected at UBC Okanagan will be used in partnership with industry to develop artificial intelligence software that can predict abnormal body temperatures with thermal images from a distance. The results will be valuable for fever screening related to infectious diseases.
