The impact of COVID-19 outbreak on adolescents and teenagers with epilepsy

This study seeks to determine whether the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lifestyle and emotional wellbeing of patients with epilepsy. Participants who have previously participated in the Epilepsy and NIH Toolbox study (H18-00868) will be eligible to participate. They will be given the same questionnaires they filled out as part of the Epilepsy and NIH Toolbox study to see whether there has been any change in their emotional well-being since COVID-19 started. They will also be given a questionnaire regarding their lifestyle and how that has changed since the COVID-19 pandemic began as well as a short questionnaire that looks at possible obsession with COVID-19.
