Rural Community Response to COVID-19
COVID-19 Research Area(s): Culture, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Social Impacts
Through pan-provincial survey research, we are interested in engaging and learning from rural and remote citizens and communities across British Columbia about their experiences of and responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have administered a 13-item anonymous survey to Rural Practice Subsidiary Agreement communities across BC (n=182) to document community response to COVID-19. Questions include descriptions of the effect of the pandemic and community response. We are following up with virtual interviews with some participants.
